Is it really just beef?
The protein is all beef. Creamy Vanilla adds organic coconut milk, vanilla powder, Himalayan pink salt and monk fruit for the flavor. That's the whole list.
What does it taste like?
It's creamy vanilla, lightly sweetened with monk fruit, with 0g added sugar. It works in coffee, smoothies and oatmeal.
Is it a complete protein, or is it collagen?
It's a complete protein. It has all nine essential amino acids, which collagen on its own does not. It's also high in glycine and the amino acids found in connective tissue, so you get benefits associated with both collagen and whey in one scoop.
How is it different from your whey isolate?
Whey isolate is milk protein filtered to under 1g of lactose. Beef isolate has no milk in it at all. If the most muscle-building protein per scoop is all you want, whey isolate scores higher there. If you can't do dairy, this is the one.
Does it have creatine in it?
No. Creatine isn't added, and the small amount of creatine in raw beef doesn't make it through processing. If you want creatine, ours mixes into the same cup.
Does it fit paleo or carnivore?
Paleo, yes: no dairy, no grains, no added sugar. Strict carnivore, no: the flavor comes from coconut milk, vanilla, pink salt and monk fruit. Unflavored is the one-ingredient option.
